Presentation transcript:

What have you enjoyed doing on the school website? So far with the new school website… What have you learnt to do? What would you like to do? What problems or issues have come up?

1 Our log in details What are the safety issues? Areas of responsibility we need to discuss as a class We should keep them private so others can not log onto our accounts When logging on, do not choose to save your password- select – ‘nope ’ (otherwise people might log onto our account)

2 Our profile names Why do you think they should be our real names? Areas of responsibility we need to discuss as a class They need to be our proper names so we can easily identify each other Some names might be inappropriate Our profile pictures need to be appropriate

3 Photos and videos we add What do we need to think about? Areas of responsibility we need to discuss as a class Pictures taken in our private places, such as bedrooms are not appropriate Pictures of other people should not be added as they might not be allowed onto the internet

4 s we send What do we need to think about? Areas of responsibility we need to discuss as a class All s can be seen by teachers. There is a trail to show everything we send We must not make others feel unsafe with things we send. As an adult it is against the law to send offensive s

Change our user names to our correct names (first name and family name) Make sure our user name pictures are appropriate If we do not feel safe ‘blow the whistle’ and tell responsible adults straight away Now we will…
