The Power of Punctuation Remember…. Eats, shoots and leaves? Think about that with this love letter.

Directions: Read the passage below. 1. Choose three words to describe Jack and Jill’s relationship. Be prepared to share the words out loud. Look carefully! Dear Jack, I want a man who knows what love is all about. You are generous, kind, thoughtful. People who are not like you admit to being useless and inferior. You have ruined me for other men. I yearn for you! I have no feelings whatsoever when we’re apart. I can be forever happy – will you let me be yours? Jill

Directions: Now read the passage below again. 2. Choose three new words to describe Jack and Jill’s relationship. Look carefully! Dear Jack, I want a man who knows what love is.
