WHEN Invented in the Tang Dynasty centuries before it was known in Europe.

WHAT? Woodblock printing is a form of printing in which an entire page is carved into a block of wood. A man named Cai Lun invented paper. Later Tang invention added more to Cai Lun’s achievement and made woodblock printing.

IMPORTANCE Woodblock: woodblock printing let the Chinese do things quicker and in large qualities such as copy, print texts, and draw. We are learning about woodblock printing for us to learn how they made writing, work and this made computers and other thing that we use today.
