Jasmine Jauhari Mr. Sandoval Period: 2A

 This image shows men marching to their death.  He painted this piece to show the experience of marching forward and participating in the revolution.  He upheld political causes of peasants as well as workers.

 This piece is called The Starry- Night.  Gogh painted this piece in the year of 1889 during the post impressionism era.

 Many believe that his religious views is what led him to create the painting with 11 stars. (Genesis 37:9)  Van Gogh was very fascinated by the night and lights.. This is what compelled him to paint The Starry- Night.

 This Picture was painted by a man named Grant Wood.  Wood painted American Gothic in 1930 during the modernism period

 He first sketched this house. It was a home he saw on his path, one day. Eventually, he began to think that the house represented the Midwestern gothic style. Then he added the two people, which represented his idea of a western family.
