2. Devotion to God’s Word Isaiah 55:6-8 (NIV)
6 Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call on him while he is near.
7 Let the wicked forsake his way
and the evil man his thoughts.
Let him turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him,
and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.

3. 40 Days to Explore the Land
Survey the land (Numbers 13:25-28).
“Count the cost of God’s mission”
2. The fruit of the land is the confirmation of God’s promises (Numbers 13:27).
“Advancing the kingdom is a part of God’s will (spiritually and numerical)”
Encourage God’s people with a good report (Numbers 13:30-33).
“Focus on what God desires to achieve through our service”

4. Lord’s Invitation
Numbers 14:6-9 (NIV) 6 Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had explored the land, tore their clothes 7 and said to the entire Israelite assembly, “The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good. 8 If the Lord is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. 9 Only do not rebel against the Lord. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will swallow them up. Their protection is gone, but the Lord is with us. Do not be afraid of them.”
