2 First Word of EVERY Sentence That dog knows lots of tricks. It will shake hands or roll over if you tell it to. “I went to Sonic after school yesterday. I ordered a milkshake,” she declared. 3 The Pronoun “I.” This week I have two papers to write. I have never been to Europe. “He and I will never get along,” I whispered to my best friend as Fred walked into the room.

DO NOT capitalize articles (a, an, the), conjunctions (but, so, yet, for, nor, or), or prepositions (by, on, with).
