 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?

 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 2

 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 2 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 3

 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: 22

 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: 22 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. 23

 Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.

 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. 20

 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. 20 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 21

 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. 22

 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. 22 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. 23

 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

 My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.

 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.

 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?

 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 3

 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 3 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 4

 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
