1 Major Academic Plan (MAP) Why study Music? We believe the study and enjoyment of music inspires students to be informed, responsible, and appreciative members of a democratic society. Music majors work closely with faculty, who combine dedicated teaching with artistic and scholarly excellence. Instructors and students hold concerts and recitals throughout the year.
