Does it offer the program that is indicated on the document? Did the candidate complete the prerequisites for admission into the program that led to the credential in question? Is the educational history logical with respect to the country in question?

9 Presented at the 2005 CLEAR Annual Conference September 15-17 Phoenix, Arizona Receiving Documents Directly from Institutions Documents must be sent directly to WES, or its partners (licensing bodies and academic institutions), by the institution for credentials from countries where this is common practice At present this is required for 162 countries (from Anguilla to Zimbabwe) Documents from countries where it is not common practice to send directly, are submitted for verification to the institution that issued them Requests are sent via mail, fax and e-mail E-Mail and Fax responses are accepted only in instances where it is known common practice
