3. Uploading programs to the calculator Click ‘Link’ and choose the ‘Send To’ ‘RAM’ options

4. To upload the program files, click ‘Add’ and then press ‘OK’. A window will pop-up as shown on the right, showing the uploaded file(s).

5. To capture the screen of the calculator, click ‘Link’ and and choose the ‘Get Screen’ option.

6. Exporting data from the calculator to PC Click ‘Link’ and then choose the ‘Receive’ option All the data and programs stored in the calculator will listed out as shown on the diagram on the right

7. Choose the designated directory and save the data as file(s). Open the data file(s) by clicking ‘File’ and then ‘Open’ By means of cutting and pasting, the data can be exported to any scientific graphing software

8. Running a program with CBL To run a program, connect your CBL with appropriate sensor(s) to the calculator. Then click ‘PRGM’ and press ‘ENTER’. The program will guide you through each step.

9. Press ‘2nd’ and then ‘DRAW’ select the DRAW STO menu from that, select 1:StorePic enter the number (0-9) of the picture variable to which you want to store the picture To store a graph picture in the calculator, follow these steps.

10. Calculating Regression Equations press ‘STAT’ to display the STAT CALC menu choose the type of regression that you want to perform and press ‘ENTER’ press ‘2nd’ Lm, ‘2nd’ Ln (where Lm contains xlist data, and Ln contains ylist data) press ‘ENTER’ to calculate the regression equation for the specified lists

11. Graphing Regression Equations press ‘Y=‘ to display the Y= editor, and then press ‘CLEAR’ to clear any existing equation press ‘VARS’ 5 (to select Statistics) and then choose ‘EQ’ press 1 (to select RegEQ) to copy the regression equation to Y1 press ‘GRAPH’ to graph the regression equation
