8. This sentence has 2 verbs. The dog jumped out of the car and ran into the house.

9. Verbs are fun words because they are things we do, action words! Keep a list of all of the things that you do when you leave school and then circle the action words (or verbs).

10. Here are a few examples… I walk my dog. I cook dinner for my family. I brush my teeth.
