2.  People involved: his vice presidents- George Clinton (1809-1812) and Elbridge Gerry (1813-1817)  details and importance: Louisiana is admitted to the nation as the 18 th state of the union.  President over the War of 1812 with Britain.  He was the father of the constitution.  He shared the letters of John Herry, agent for governor of Canada, with Congress that indicates that the governor general of Canada is indicating rebellion in New England

3.  He was very skilled and thoughtful. His plans focused on the French and British. John wanted a peace treaty between France and the British so he sent three commissioners to France. They didn’t want the France knowing their real name so they called them the X, Y,Z  The foreign priest refused to communicate with the 3 commissioners. The nation broke and the French refused to the peace treaty so they broke out into war. Later the French agreed to the treaty and later the peace treaty was called the treaty of Paris 1783

4.  1st Amendment  Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.  2nd Amendment  A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.  3rd Amendment  No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.  4th Amendment  The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.  The first amendment was to protect all your birth rights form the government and not to allow them to take them away. The second says we have the right to bear arms. The third says that no one has to have a solider or can be made one to quarter in his house. The fourth amendment protects your privacy and no with out a warrant can go throw your things also no unreasonable searches and no unreasonable taking of things
