6. Early Life Henry Ford was born on August 12,1908 in Dearborn Michigan. His parents were William and Mary Ford. He had 4 siblings Margaret Ford, Jane Ford, William Ford, Robert Ford. In his early life Henry built and drove race cars. At the age of 15 he dropped out of school. In 1879, 16 year old Ford left home to work as an apprentice machinist, 3 years later he returned to Dearborn.

8. Later In Life In 1888 Henry married Clara Bryant. In 1901 they had their first child Edsel Bryant Ford. Henry was also a unsuccessful candidate in the U.S senate in 1918.
