3. MY NAME IS DEEANA MESSINA I hope after viewing these slides, you will know a little more about me! My top priorities in life are God, family, friends, and school. I am a senior at Campbell University pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. It has been a long journey to get where I am today, and I am so glad to have the family and friends that I have to support me through the good times and the bad.

4. ALWAYS PUT GOD FIRST It was always emphasized in my family that God should come first on our priority list. God has been a huge part of my life, and I truly believe that He has helped me along my life’s journey.

5. FAMILY… My family has played such an important role in life. They are always there for me whenever I need love and support. I have an amazing father, named Vincent Messina. He has been such a great role model for what I want my future husband to be like someday. He has instilled in me my strong sense of religion. It was always emphasized in my household that God should come before everything, and I truly believe that. My mother, Dawn Messina, has also played a huge role in who I am today. She has gotten me to see how much fun being a mom can be. Her love and support has made me want a large family someday, and her example has helped me realize what kind of mom I will be to my children someday.

6. “HAVING A SISTER IS LIKE HAVING A BEST FRIEND YOU CAN’T GET RID OF. YOU KNOW WHATEVER YOU DO, THEY’LL STILL BE THERE.” -AMY LI I don’t know what I would do without my sisters. They have been there for me every single time I’ve needed them. We are truly all the best of friends, and I am so lucky to have them in my life! “sisters are Sisters…

7. LOVE LIFE! My boyfriend’s name is Nathan, and he is 22 years old. We have been together for four years now, and he is absolutely amazing. He is my best friend. While I am pursuing my education at Campbell University, he is four hours away pursuing his Engineering Degree at Old Dominion University. It has been a tough journey with the distance, but it has been well worth it! We plan on getting engaged after graduation, and hopefully getting married shortly after we have begun our careers in the real world. It’s crazy how high school sweethearts can turn into lifetime partners! xoxo

8. BIRTHDAY! I was born on April 22, 1991 in Long Island, New York. My mom said it was pouring down rain on my birthday, and I can not remember a birthday since then where it has not rained. Weird! Happy Birthday to me!
