4. Muscular organ that is attached to esophagus. After the food has entered it is churned in a bath of acids and liquids.

5. Food enters it through the pharynx. Lets food pass through to the stomach.

6. Pouch shaped organ that accepts bile from the liver Stores bile Releases bile into the small intestine when food is digested

7. Produces pancreatic juices Produces hormones like insulin, and enzymes Helps pass on food to the small intestine

8. Protects body against any infections Protects body against secretes intestinal juices

9. Absorbs water and salts Helps in the excretion of solid waste material
