1. Julie putting the finishing touches on our Adult Division entry, This Side Down. We got in and the boat sank. We paddled it submerged and still managed to place 2 nd.

2. The family entry is taking shape. Here the bun is just out of the oven.

5. The Boy Scout’s entries in our front yard. Jarrett designed all three, which were built with the help of about 12 scouts. The Tonka Tub, The Eagle and The USS Maine.

7. Remember The Maine? These Boy Scouts won the Titanic Award for best sinking.

8. Jarrett’s first heat. The Eagle proved to be more unstable than expected. The Scouts trailed from the start.

9. Final leg. Jarrett and Barrett trailed the Patriot the entire race -until the very last second.

10. The All American is carried to the starting line. It was going to be a race between a Birthday Cake and a hot dog. Nobody thought we had a chance.

12. The crowd cheered when The Dog Within was uncovered.

14. Tonka Tub versus The Eagle in the Youth Finals. Jarrett and Barrett set the record for the fastest time of the day.

15. Heading for victory in the finals against Boogie Board. Our last run was 30 seconds faster than Jarrett and Barrett.

16. Family Finals. Team Condiments wins!

17. 1 st Place Family, 1 st Place Overall, Fastest Time, Vogue Award for best overall style, and 2 nd Place Adults.

18. Final Event to see which boat can take one more round of getting wet. The All American is reassembled and takes to the water. The only part that made it back to the beach was the front of the dog and, of course, The Dog Within.
