6 Activity I  In this activity, you will pass around the Positive Attitude Ball around the classroom.  When you catch the ball, the closet statement or action that is closest to your right thumb you will have to perform.  For example, if you get the ball and the closest thing that touches your right thumb says “Give someone a compliment” you will have to give someone a compliment. This way, not only will you make someone feel better and feel more positive, but you will feel the same as well!

But with a little practice, you can become a pro at expecting the best – and getting it! Activity 2 Try your hand at expecting the best of a situation. You will read a situation from the book Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. Figure out how Alexander can make this situation into a positive one. Make a list below of all the positive thoughts or outcomes that might turn out if you focus on he positives. Explain your thoughts below. Situation: At breakfast Anthony found a corvette Sting Ray car kit in his breakfast cereal box and Nick found a Junior Undercover Agent code ring in his breakfast cereal box but in my breakfast cereal box all I found was breakfast cereal.
