15. 2007/02/23Ryukyus Repository 2006-200715 延世大学校との国際交流協定 Exchange and Collaboration Agreement between Yonsei Univ. and Ryukyu Univ. Exchange and Collaboration Agreement between Yonsei University Central Library, Korea and University of the Ryukyus Library, Japan Yonsei University Central Library in Korea and University of the Ryukyus Library in Japan conclude an agreement to encourage fruitful academic cooperation. 1.The purpose of this agreement is to enhance academic and library service cooperation and to promote mutual understanding between the two libraries. 2.Both Libraries shall promote and develop cooperation in the following ways: (1)Utilization of the library. (2)Exchange of publications. (3)Cooperation in library development projects. (4)Exchange of library staff. (5)Other exchange projects to which both Libraries agree 3.The implementation of this Agreement shall be negotiated and determined by both Libraries as required. 4.Nothing shall diminish the full autonomy of either Library, nor shall any impositions be made by either upon the other in implementing the Agreement. This Agreement may be revised or terminated upon mutual consultation and consent between the directors of both Libraries. 5.This Agreement shall become effective on the day of signature by the directors of the two Libraries. It shall be valid for a period of five years and continue to be valid for successive five years unless either Library to the Agreement expresses its wish to the contrary by written notice not later than six months prior to the end of valid date. 6.This Agreement shall be executed in two copies in English; both Libraries will retain one copy each.
