2  Write down all the different ways you can think of in which someone with a disability can use a computer.  (Try to think of things other than a keyboard and mouse, what else could be used?)

3  Become familiar with how people with disabilities can access a computer.  Become familiar with what software is available to assist people with learning difficulties.  Complete a research booklet and examination questions based on the above areas (over multiple lessons).

4  In an ICT context a disability is something which prevents full access to a computer in the usual way which is currently via keyboard on mouse. Assistive technologies can help people with a disability to access a computer.  Software is also available which assists people with learning difficulties. These are the two areas you need to explore.

6  Over 2-3 lessons, you will complete some self research, which will be assessed and you will receive a grade and feedback for.  You need to complete the Support Technologies Workbook.
