3. What’s New? ION has very interesting facility of collaborative indicators as follows. This yellow color icon is a file which can be downloaded. Preview will be available prior to download only for pdf files. Other types can only be downloaded. Blue color icon is a byte (like tweet) This shows any upcoming event.

4. Further Plan ION -5 will be rolled out by February 2015 end. It will contain the INBOX facility which will enable parents to send mails to individual teachers through ION. Lesson plan facility and daily time table viewing will be active from next academic year

12. Password Policies Password policies are stringent as parents are using Credit cards for online fee payment. Change of password should be done for both parent and student log in after logging in for first time. Password expires after every 90 days Forgot password link will work after typing the log in ID. It will send an email of a link. On clicking the link, another mail will be sent with new password. This mail will go to the email ID entered by you in the system, under Father details in Family details tab available under EDIT button in self service. Please refer to slide number 54 to know more about self service

16. Description of Side Tabs Actions and My Posts used by administrator of ION only COMMUNITIES tab will enable you to change the communities. By default is Sulonian Clicking on COURSES you are able to navigate to the standard specific information of your ward. This tab is for viewing history of online exams taken by the student. It enables you to go through various WIDGETS. It enables you to go through various QUICK LINK. Kindly Ignore this. Refer to top right corner of the screen for CALENDAR. The posts added to FAVORITES by clicking on star icon will be readily available here. This tab shows you the history of your actions.

17. Course Page View Course gives standard specific information. E.g. Upcoming exam or test timetable, circular regarding picnic, etc. Teachers upload worksheets and notes here. To see if any notes are uploaded, keep Course & Activities tab in expanded form. Otherwise collapse it. This can be done by clicking on + and – sign available on left of the tab.
