Theme What theme will you base your game on? Could be: sports, books, movies, United States, Presidents, animals, or anything in the world. Make sure that you can tell the theme in the decorations, questions, and game board. The theme should be easy to see. Also, remember the theme when you name your game.

Number of players You should have at least 4 but you can have more.

Who goes first Put in your rules sheet who goes first. You can come up with a creative way or just roll the dice. You decide for your game.

How do you win your game? Again, you decide with your group. You can make it creative or just be the one who reaches the end first. See if you can come up with some creative ways to decide who wins.

Rules of the game This is probably the hardest part of making the game. You will need to make a prototype of your game on paper and try playing it so you will know what rules you need.

Will you have questions in your game? Decide on your questions and write them down on paper before you write them on the cards. Write the answers on the back so that the answer is easy for the players to find.

Equipment Extra credit will be given to those teams who come up with a use for all of the equipment that is available. You have dice, tokens, cards, money, timer, spinner, and game board. If you are able to think of a use for each item in your game box, you will get extra credit. Be creative.

Teamwork Please keep voices quiet. Do not argue. Don’t get angry if someone doesn’t agree. Listen to all ideas. Don’t shut people out from your team. Don’t leave your team. Work together
