Question was asked by Pilate Pilate tried to be neutral Pilate’s dilemma  Jesus was innocent  He wanted the favor of the people “Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.” When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it. Matt. 27:24

3. What Shall I Do With Jesus…?  Compromise Him like Pilate?  Betray Him like Judas? (Matt. 26:47-49)  Deny Him like Peter? (Matt. 26:34)  Forsake Him as the disciples? (Matt. 26:56)  Give Him up for riches? (Matt. 19:16-22)  Crucify like the Jews and Romans? (Heb. 6:4-6) “Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.” “But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.”

4. What Will You Do With Jesus?  Receive Him as Lord like Thomas? (John 20:24-29)  Glorify Him as the Roman Centurion? (Luke 23:34)  Obey Him as the 3,000 on Pentecost? (Acts 2:37-41)  Obey Him like the Ethiopian Eunuch? (Acts 8:36)
