3 Nessie There have been many sightings of Nessie but the most famous picture was taken in 1933 only for people to relise in was a mini toy submarine with a nessie head on top, another sighting was when Mr. and Mrs. Spicer saw a huge animal cross the road and went straight into the Loch Ness and disappeared. Nessie is a cold blooded animal with four flippers a long neck a broad body and tail with a small head. The name Nessie came from the Gaelic meaning female of the Ness In On 3 September, Kevin Carlyon, the high priest of British white witches cast a spell on Nessie protecting her from harm. He wore long red robes and a pair of trainers. In 2006 Kevin Carlyon was awarded the lifetime title of Official Protector and High Priest of Loch Ness by Scottish witches. Nessie may be protected from harm; she has herself never caused harm to anyone since St Columba's encounter with her in 565 AD.

5 Culture/Tradition .The Highland games is were men test there strength by throwing logs and very heavy metal balls .Men play bagpipes at special occasions like the highland games ."Hallow een" is Scots for "Hallows Eve". Originally people dressed as monsters because they were scared of the dark and thought they would escape the notice of the ghosts and ghouls if they dressed as one of them!

7 Dress Kilt is only worn by men because it is male garment
Sporrans is what some men keep there money in Tam-o-shanter is a tartan hat with a pompom on top

8 Scotland's Flag The Scottish flag is blue and white and is called St Andrew’s cross. The Scottish flag has never been adopted but has been flown for hundreds of years. There is also a royal Scottish flag also known as The Banner of the King of Scots.

9 Languages Scottish speak English, Scottish and Gaelic and there official langue is English

10 Capital of Scotland The capital of Scotland is Edinburgh and the largest city is Glasgow

11 National animal/flower
The national animal of Scotland is the deer The official animal of Scotland is the Unicorn The national flower is the purple and green Thistle
