3. Here’s the trick!  (2a+2)*5 =10a+10-(10-b) =10a+10-10+b =10a+b so the number looks like ab, where a is the value of the card you picked and b is the value of the card I have.

6. I can tell your birthday!  Multiply 5 with your birth month  Add 6 to it  Multiply 4  Add 9  Multiply 5  Add the date of your birth  Subtract 165 from the whole number

7. Here’s the trick! (5a+6)*4}+9]*5]+b]-165 =(20a+24+9)*5}+b]-165 =100a+165+b-165 =100a+b
