Volunteer Program The Westminster Family Resource Center (WFRC) is currently looking for individuals who are looking for a place to give meaningful service to their community by volunteering. The WFRC will be looking for help in the following areas: Homework Help-assisting k-8 students with their homework Childcare- Caring for children while their parents are attending programs in site/receiving services Front Desk- Answering phones and assisting clients complete enrollment forms General Office Support- Keeping inventory of emergency food supplies and general office supplies for the FRC Who can apply? The WFRC is dedicated to offering services to assist families. As such, most of our programs involve working with children. To safeguard our clients safety individuals wanting to volunteer at the center will have to pass a background check including but not limited to, a criminal background check, a tuberculosis screening, fingerprinting and may be subject to a drug test. Are there age requirements? Anyone over the age of 16 may apply. Some positions may be restricted to volunteers 18 and over.
