2 From the Internet Homepage Click “BYOD PAGE”

3 BYOD Website (Step 1) Click the Office 365 Mail Icon

Ask them to click the OFFICE 365 link and that will take them to their set up Before we proceed we do a small presentation about the student services department We had a staff of three to four for this presentation- one counsellor led the students in the presentation and the other 2-3 brought their own device and circulated the classroom to change the student’s on their ipad/tablet. The change can be done in the counsellor view under “Student manager” you would click on “Edit account” Edit account will then allow you to change a student’s to their BYOD student the password we used the SAME password they used to login to the networkj.

1. Next, set the time zone: Eastern Time (US & Canada). In order to set up their outlook they will need to set the time zone Tell the kids- leave English US Then change the TIME ZONE- it’s a bit tricky to find but if they scroll up and look for -5:00 they will find it They then click save. Yay they set up their - they will see their 2. Then click ‘save’.

Once completed, open a new window/tab in your browser and go to: We then ask the kids to open a new window – Keep the BYOD one open They type in the myblueprint/peel in the browser

You can tell them a little bit about myblueprint Especially if you are changing kids s still

8 Existing users login here
myBlueprint – Login Existing users login here If the staff have changed the student’s at the session, they login to myblueprint/peel with If the kids are complete new users they find their school in the NEW USER drop down menu The kids who have their account done.. They can do an activity New users login here. Select your secondary school then click ‘Create Account’.

9 New Users myBlueprint Do not skip steps!!
1. Enter your grade level. The New users will have to indicate their grade. 2. Click ‘Next Step’.

10 myBlueprint Do not skip steps!!
1. Enter your OEN (Ontario Education Number) here with no spaces or dashes. myBlueprint Do not skip steps!! 2. Enter your birth date. The kids will need to Refer to your timetable for your OEN (Ontario Education Number). I printed the class sets of timetables and highlighted the OEN at the top. I also highlighted the homeform or in my case the period three and four teacher on the Timetabl (for the link request)…more about that later. DO NOT let the kids hit skip- this will mess things up. 3. Click ‘Next Step’.

11 Once you have input your OEN and birth date, on the next screen you will have to:
Enter your BYOD Outlook Verify your BYOD Outlook . Enter your chosen password (Max 12 characters) Verify your password (re-enter your password). The kids enter their BYOD as their – student The password we used is their network password (their birthdate)

12 Already Have a myBlueprint Account….
Existing users will be directed to this home screen Now click “My Profile” And “Account Settings”

13 Change Email Address Change email address to Outlook 365
Save Changes

14 You should be receiving a
My Blueprint – Login You are almost done the registration process!!! Your final step is to login/access your BYOD Outlook You should be receiving a verification . Ask students to go back to their BYOD . There will be an from MBP they need to click on it and verify their as a last step
