2 What schooling is needed - You must be between 17 to 27 for active duty and 17 to 39 for reserve duty. 17 year old recruits require parental consent. Education - High School Diploma is required, however, sometimes a GED is accepted.

3 Starting/average salary The average salary is 1,916 and at the max 2,326.

4 Location You can rally go anywhere where there is water so Michigan would be a grate place.

5 10 characteristics The values of a coast guard are honor, respect and devotion to duty. Task and responsibilities The Coast Guard is a unique branch of the military responsible for an array of maritime duties, from ensuring safe and lawful commerce to performing rescue missions in severe conditions. Aptitudes and abilities are you have to be in shape and have a good education. 7 values The values of a baseball player can be very high but it is all about how good you are like the highest played baseball player today A-rod he is getting $28,000,000 but there can be some really good players that get payed very low like Sean Doolittle, Todd Frazier, Devin Mesoraco, Tony Watson, Dee Gordon, Josh Harrison, Derek Norris, Dylan betances, Charlie Blackmon and josh Donaldson. All these all stares are payed anywhere from 630,000 to 500,000 a year.

8 Tasks and Responsibilities MLB players report to spring training in February, beginning a season that can last into November if a player's team reaches the World series. in a major-league career is short- lived compared to many other professions. The average service time in the majors is 5.6 years.

9 Working with Data Threes a lot of data with baseball playes if you are a pitcher then you would have to look up what the pitcher hits the best. If you a hitter then you study what pitches they throw and what they throw the most.

10 Work environment Practice every day. Exercise often,and Put your best in the games and work as a team and get to the world series.

11 Working hours The working hours of a baseball player can be anywhere from 2 to 4 hours plus all the spring tanning and infield practice and batting practice.

12 Aptitudes and Abilities The skills needed to be a pro baseball player are you need to be very athletic, good state of mind good attitude and the desire to be a champion and all of this can be created over a period of time, through out training and practices and then you can be a great baseball player.

13 Education and Tranning You need to at least pass high school. In high school you need to take health and P.E. College is not required, but you get more pay with a college degree

14 Salary and benefits is an agreement or rule that places a limit on the amount of money that a team can spend on player salaries. The limit exists as a per- player limit or a total limit for the team's roster, or both. There is still a lot of benefits in being a pro baseball play one of them is getting more attention and being rich.

15 Career outlook The outlook for professional athletes varies by sport. Some leagues occasionally add new teams and increase the number of jobs for professional athletes. Athletes and sports competitors often work difficult hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. They usually work more than 40 hours a week for several months during their particular sports season. They may be exposed to all weather conditions.

16 International career outlook Coaches teach amateur or professional athletes the skills they need to succeed at their sport. Scouts look for new players and evaluate their skills and likelihood for success at the college, amateur, or professional level. Many coaches are also involved in scouting.

17 Why I want to be in the coast guard and a professional baseball player Ever since I have been about 3 years old I have been on the water fishing and boating all the time I have seen the coast guard out their I have thought to my self I would be so cool to be a worker for the coast guard and now ever since that is one of my dream job. I would have to say that my dream job would have to be a professional baseball player because I have been playing it for so long and watching it for so long and it just seems like it would be so cool to be in the MLB contending for the world series.
