Graduated from high school in 1966 He continued to the university of Maine at Orono where he received a bachelors in science in English in 1970 as well as meet his soon to be wife Tabitha Spruce.

3. The Family Life In college he meet Tabitha Spruce, his soon to be wife. Him and Tabitha were married in 1971 Him and his wife had two sons and one daughter. His son Joe had a son named Ethan.

4. The Peak of His Career His first big selling book was Carrie which was sold to be reprinted to the New American Library for 400,000 dollars and he got half of the profit. His second book was Salem's Lot which net him 250,000 dollars. His third book called The Shining took off and soon later became a movie. Currently in His career he is making millions off his latest horror novels.

8. Why I Chose Stephen King I chose Stephen King for 2 main reasons: the first reason is because I wanted to know more about him, the second reason is because he is not the most well known author, but he did change the course of his field with his horror stories.

9. Conclusion Stephen King changed the world with his great horror stories which changed his career as well as his life forever. He rewrote horror and changed peoples perception of horror. He is and will always be the “King”.
