10. An encyclopedia is: A set of books that contain information about different subjects. Because all of the information cannot be put in one big book, the information is put in smaller books called… volumes

11. Volumes are: Arranged in alphabetical order to make it easier to find the information. Have a number on the spine to make it easier to put them in order on the shelf.

12. On the pages: Information is arranged in alphabetical order- like a dictionary. You will see guidewords at the top- like a dictionary.

13. On the page… The subjects are usually printed in large, dark letters. Lots of subjects can appear in one page.
