2. A Message From Your Principal Teachers, please review the dress code with your students and report any violations to the office. The first six weeks ends today. Parent Teacher Conferences are Tuesday, September 29 th from 3:00-6:00.

3. GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS Eagle Strut t-shirt forms are due to the office today. Today is school color day. Class counts will be taken during English class.

4. A Message From the Counselor Attention juniors and seniors: Make plans to attend the Scholarship and Financial Aid Night with your parents on Tuesday at 6:00 in the cafeteria. If you would like to take the ACT in October, you can still register, but will need to pay the late fee. The last day to register is October 2 nd.

5. A Message from Officer Wooten If you are interested in the SRO Beauty Pageant on October 17 th, see Officer Wooten for an application. All students are eligible. Members of the Trap/Shotgun Team will have their first practice on Saturday at the Big Springs Shooting Range at 10:00 a.m.

6. SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS There is a pep rally today at 2:05. Please release cheerleaders and band members at 1:30. We will be on alternate schedule. Football game at Moore County tonight. Kickoff at 7:30.

7. SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS All middle school basketball players need to turn in car wash ticket money to Coach Snell Middle school girl’s basketball tryouts/practice start October 12 from 3:00-4:30. Students who did not have the opportunity to try-out last spring may do so on October 12 th. You must have a current physical to try out.

8. SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS Congratulations to the middle school volleyball team…….Rutherford County Champions!!

9. SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS The Eagles golf team placed 3 rd in their match against Forrest and Cascade. The Lady Eagles placed 2 nd in their match against Forrest and Cascade.

10. SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS Good luck to the cross country team as they compete at the AF Bridges meet tomorrow.

11. CLUB ANNOUNCEMENTS Today is the last day to purchase a homecoming shirt. They are $12. Support the Eagles and buy a homecoming shirt!

12. LUNCH MENU Friday: spaghetti and meatballs, garden salad, fresh bread, peaches, mixed vegetables. Monday: cheeseburgers or hotdogs, baked beans, tator tots and fruit.
