2 A glimpse at a fantastic song. Everything - Lifehouse

3 Lifehouse’s History By the time singer-songwriter Jason Wade formed Lifehouse in his mid-teens, he'd already lived in numerous parts of the world. After an early childhood in Camarillo, California, he traveled with his family to Japan, Thailand, Singapore, and Hong Kong, then back to Portland, Oregon, all before he reached junior high. This nomadic existence resulted in much loneliness for young Wade, and after his parents divorced and he was forced to move yet again--this time with his mother to Seattle--he started writing and playing music to vent his emotions. A few years later, when he was still only 15, his mother informed him they were relocating once more--this time to Los Angeles. Wade protested, as he had finally made friends and laid roots in Seattle, but once he got to L.A. he met the teens who would become his future Lifehouse bandmates. Bassist Sergio Andrade had also moved around as a youth: He'd left his hometown of Guatemala City to migrate to California, and used music as a way to meet people and make friends, since he was still learning to speak English at the time. Drummer Rick Woolstenhulme hailed from a small town in Arizona called Gilbert, and had traveled to L.A. to attend the Los Angeles Music Academy. Wade, Andrade, and Woolstenhulme went on to form a pop/rock band called Blyss in 1996, and gigged around L.A. for four years before changing their name to Lifehouse and eventually signing to DreamWorks just as they entered their twenties. DreamWorks released Lifehouse's debut, No Name Face, in October 2000, and while the album--with its sonic similarities to popular rock bands like Everclear, Creed, and Matchbox Twenty--seemed a surefire hit (it indeed go double-platinum), no one could have expected that it would yield the most-played radio song for all of 2001, the virtually inescapable single "Hanging By A Moment." After relentless touring with Pearl Jam, Fuel, Matchbox Twenty, and other big-name rock acts, Lifehouse returned to the studio in spring 2002 with mega-producer/mixer Brendan O'Brien), who'd also worked on No Name Face. The result was Lifehouse's sophomore disc, Stanley Climbfall (the title comes from a song called "Stand Climb Fall"), released in September 2002.

4 Everything - Lyrics Find Me Here Speak To Me I want to feel you I need to hear you You are the light That's leading me To the place where I find peace again. You are the strength, that keeps me walking. You are the hope, that keeps me trusting. You are the light to my soul. You are my purpose...you're everything. How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you? Would you tell me how could it be any better than this? You calm the storms, and you give me rest. You hold me in your hands, you won't let me fall. You steal my heart, and you take my breath away. Would you take me in? Take me deeper now? How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you? Would you tell me how could it be any better than this? And how can I stand here with you and not be moved by you? Would you tell me how could it be any better than this? Cause you're all I want, You're all I need You're everything, everything You're all I want your all I need You're everything, everything. You're all I want you're all I need. You're everything, everything You're all I want you're all I need, you're everything, everything. And How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you? Would you tell me how could it be any better than this? How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you? Would you tell me how could it be any better than this? How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you? Would you tell me how could it be any better than this? Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?
