2 Methamphetamine: meth·am·phet·a·mine ˌ meTHəm ˈ fetə ˌ mēn,-min A synthetic drug with more rapid and lasting effects than amphetamine, used illegally as a stimulant and as a prescription drug to treat narcolepsy and maintain blood pressure. Methamphetamine can appear as a crystalline powder or in rock-like chunks (known as “ice’) that vary in color between white, yellow, brown or pink.

4 How it enters the body: * Smoked * Injected * Dissolved in water or alcohol * Taken orally * Snorted Once it enters the body the drug is delivered to the bran. There it produces and immediate, intense, euphoria. Users usually take more than one dose because the pleasure fades quickly.
