The Monthly Budget, Guidebook page 76  You just got a new job making $2,500 a month which is about $30,000 a year.  Each of you will attempt to pay your bills, save extra money, and pay for additional expenses like clothes, entertainment, etc.  Make sure that you not spend all of your money or worse spend too much!!  Try to save at least 5% of your monthly salary.  If you save 5% each month how much do you save a year?
