Ms. Salve Martinez Dela Costa Village,Phase2, Montalban, Rizal - Billy (Husband and presently Employed) - Belle (9 years old) - Xavier (5 yrs. old) The entire house was submerged. House furniture and equipment were damaged and can no longer be repaired Clothes and beddings could hardly be used. The family is temporarily housed at the 3 rd floor of the MO building. Children are out of school at the moment. The husband is feverish and kids are having colds. The family is scouting for an affordable house/ room to rent near the Barangka area. Rent is very exorbitant at this time. The house in Montalban is not habitable due to the absence of electricity and intermittent supply of water. The garbage condition and mud in the streets have not yet been attended to. The family plans to relocate to a higher ground near the Barangka area. Kids will enroll at the Barangka Elementary School. House cleaning and repairs in Montalban may only start next week. The family, however, has no plans of residing in the same place. 2.Mr. Doods Colaljo Dela Costa Village,Phase 1, Montalban, Rizal -Cherry (Wife and works at home) -Janel (5 yrs old) -Jandy (3 yrs old) The house was submerged All pieces of furniture and equipment were damaged and are beyond repaired. Clothes and beddings can no longer be used. The family is staying with a family friend in a neighboring village. The condition is difficult due to the limited space. House cleaning has started but the absence of a steady supply of water has been a constraint. The first child has stopped going to school. Doods is now in bed due to influenza The family plans to leave their house for good and relocate to Davao City by December. Doods’ parents are residents of Davao City. B. Situational Report

4 StatusImmediately after OndoyPresent (as of 10/08/09)Plans 3.Mr. Erwin Sancap 16 Mustang St. Fairview Quezon City (Informal settlement) - Palen (wife and works at home) - Mark (7 yrs old) - Marco Polo (7 yrs old) - Paolo ( 5 yrs old) - Nash (2 yrs old) The entire house was washed out by floodwaters. Not a single item was saved. The family is renting a room in a nearby village for just a month. The owner has no intention of renting it out for a longer period. His children have not yet reported back to school. Children are having some nightmares caused by this recent experience. There are news that the local government may no longer allow them to up another house in the same place. The family is looking for a place to rent but budget for rent is very limited. The family can only afford to pay P 1,500 a month for rent. The family would like to stay in a place close to MO; but looking for a place that is within the family’s budget is a concern. The family expressed the need to reconstruct legal documents that were lost. 4. Ivy Panganiban Jasmin St., Twinville Subd. Concepcion 1 Marikina City - Rodel ( Husband and employed) - Charmaine (5 yrs old) The two-floor unit was almost submerged. Pieces of furniture and equipment were all damaged. Clothes and beddings are almost impossible to use. The family, including a relative’s family, is staying in an office in Cubao. Cleaning has started in the family’s former residence. The daughter is out-of-school at the moment. The family is also looking for a place to rent. Ivy and her daughter are having severe colds and cough. The family has no plans of going back to their former abode.

Ms. Fely Dano Dela Costa Village,Phase 1, Montalban, Rizal - Timmy (Husband and self-employed) - Ron (7 yrs old) - Alexander (6 yrs old - Mary Rose (2 yrs old) The entire house was submerged. House furniture and equipment were damaged and can no longer be repaired Clothes and beddings could hardly be used. The family is staying with a relative in Novaliches. House cleaning has started but the absence of a steady supply of water has been a constraint. The two school-age boys were already enrolled in a school in Novaliches and have reported to school this week. The husband’s means of livelihood (Tricycle operation) has ceased because of the damaged roads and huge piles of uncollected garbage. Inquired about the possibility of enrolling her children in Novaliches. Damaged tricycle is being repaired. The family will move to the house of a relative by 10 October and will stay there until April 2010 Husband wishes to ply back his tricycle in Dela Costa once roads have been repaired.
