5 CRDF Project Portfolio FY 2015-16 CRDF Competitive Research Program 43 current research projects continuing, costing $16 million 18 new projects being considered - $9 million multi-year cost CRDF Commercial Product Delivery Program 15 current projects costing $1.8 million continuing 17 new project approvals being considered for $6.6 million

6 HLB Funding and the Role of CRDF Florida has provided the base for HLB Research and Development California and Texas now have similar mechanisms to fund HLB Research Federal Commitment in 2014 has expanded resources USDA, National Institute of Food and Agriculture – SCRI $25 million/year USDA, APHIS MAC Group – “Shovel-Ready Projects” - $21 million/ 2 years  More resources are now available to accelerate solutions  Need for coordination between diverse funding sources and projects  Florida and CRDF are in key positions to coordinate this effort
