14. Half track Russia made the first half track. It made it easier to cross no mans land because instead of having wheels, it had 2 front wheels and tracks. 16. Half tracks were more reliable because they were harder to get stuck due to more moving surface area than on regular wheels. They were also more reliable cause medics would use them to evacuate wounded soldiers.

Half tracks were the safest and most reliable way to travel if you didn’t want to take a plane or risk getting stuck in the mud with a regular armored vehicles.
