7 PROPOSAL In order to de-risk the technology at the commercial scale, we desire to deploy a 1 MW pilot plant. A small scale plant of this size is not economically viable as the economies of scale are not there for a CSP plant. We are seeking Sask Power to fund a 1 MW pilot plant comprising 300 Ultra Lite Solar Arrays. Sask Power would own the plant, but not the technology. In order to de-risk the technology at the commercial scale, we desire to deploy a 1 MW pilot plant. 8 BENEFITS Sask Power and the Province would benefit from this demonstration project in a number of ways. 9 LCOE AT COMMERCIAL SCALE The Levelized Cost of Electricity on a 100 MW plant is estimated to be $0.06 per kWh in California and about $0.10 per kWh in Estevan SK.
