We don’t understand why you need to cordon off a beach to protect seals that have never been harmed Children’s Pool has a new ranger program, and he has had a really easy time, because all he has to do is let people know what a seal comfort zone is, and things work out fine. Everybody likes seals.

Does a rope help let people and seals understand each other?

Do you believe divers hate seals and want to drive them away?

Seals are very smart They don’t waste energy fleeing from things that never hurt them They are curious and friendly in the water. On land they want about 15’ comfort zone They are unassuming and willing to share the beach – unlike some folks who want the beach unshared; no people.

Do divers scare seals?

That’s why divers are not a problem for seals

Where is the harm? What have we done to be denied access to a public beach? There is no seal problem, only a people problem, that more rope won’t fix.
