2 Purpose of FNS Management Evaluation (ME) Identify barriers to program access Provide technical assistance to local offices to eliminate or minimize barriers Promote a partnership with the State and local office to further improve program access for FNS

4 Policy Updates Policy Updates such as Dear County Director Letters, Administrative Letters, Change Notices Listserv Messages Must share with staff

5 That Has Never Been Reviewed Before….. Priorities change each year How are priorities determined? –USDA Mandates –Single County Audits –Internal and State Audits –Trend Analysis

6 What Needs to be Included in CAP? Supporting documentation that corrects the finding: –Policy Training – Date, Agenda, Staff Sign In Sheets –Civil Rights Training – Date, Agenda, Updated Training Material, Sign in Sheets
