2. Map of social services developed with KHSIMA support The C4A-MD Program is active in 28 rayons from the total of 35 rayons. The total number of developed services – 70 The total number of beneficiaries - 1800

3. C4A-MD Program objectives To contribute to the reform of social protection system of persons with disabilities through the following:  Transferring the children and adults with severe mental disabilities from Orhei residential institution to their families / or into community based services.  Development of legal framework for newly developed services  Improvement of the environment for better social inclusion of persons with intellectual disabilities

4. Program outputs 1800 children with disabilities and parents benefited of improved services. 66 children have been moved from Orhei institution to communities (40 – reintegrated with families and 26 – in community based services). 318 children have been prevented from the institutionalization by receiving family support services 92 children have been included into the mainstream schools with individual education plans

Program outputs Mobile team services – active in 9 rayons Resource centers for inclusive education – active in 5 communities, at the preparation stage - in 10 communities Inclusive education concept – piloted in 22 communities from 15 rayons Three community homes and two supported living developed ; Three foster care for children with disabilities One shared living service developed Respite services piloted in two rayons Around 7000 person/day trainings

Program outputs Ratified Convention on the rights of persons with disabilities Approved Strategy and Law on social inclusion of persons with disabilities Approved Regulations and standards for community homes, supported living services, mobile team, respite services and personal assistant Approved Regulation on redirecting the financial resources from the residential institution toward community based services Developed draft regulations and standards for shared living services Working on social contracting mechanism
