Solicit and incorporate inputs from other disciplines in the Information Systems community and from traditional aerospace disciplines that could benefit from IS applications Converge on vision(s) of best uses of intelligent systems for aerospace Clearly articulate vision of where intelligent systems (applications, not theory) are headed and how they can help aerospace communities identified above Form a basis for government research funding of the gaps identified Help popularize intelligent systems 2
