2. Introduction This tutorial is specifically meant for those who have access to both Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 and YouTube. After this tutorial you will be able to incorporate YouTube videos from the Internet into your presentations. The difference between inserting a video and embedding video code into a presentation: Inserting a video file involves having a full video file downloaded to your personal computer Embedding a video from YouTube allows you to: Save space on your computer Take advantage of the Internet by having an embedded player linked to a video that streams from over the Internet Not have as bulky of a presentation for sending and sharing.

3. Find Your Video on YouTube Once you find the video of your choice, look for the specific section that says “Embed”

4. Copy the Embed Code Once the “Embed” feature is clicked you can change settings such as size and quality options. Copy the code from the text box. This will be used soon.

5. Transfer the Code to PowerPoint Once in PowerPoint, go to: “Insert” “Video” “Video from Website”

6. Paste the Embed Code Make sure you have the embed code copied before you paste in this window.
