GEDA: State Energy Conservation Fund As per the provisions of “Energy Conservation Act 2001”, enacted and enforced by Government of India, Government of Gujarat has constituted a fund to be called the “Gujarat State Energy Conservation Fund”. Energy and Petrochemicals Department, Government of Gujarat has issued Notification No: GS/2010/67/ECN- 1204-525 - (305418) –B dated May 19, 2010 The Gujarat State Energy Conservation Fund rules are as per the model rules of SECF provided by BEE for reference to GEDA - SDA As per the provision of Notification a separate accounts is opened by GEDA - SDA for operation of the Fund BEE has released Rs 2.00 Crores to GEDA- SDA for the activities vide letter dated August 13, 2010. The SECF shall be utilized as per the terms and conditions of BEE and the Notification issued by Gujarat State Government
