9. Lesson for Us Cornelius’ baptism shows us that:  Being a devout man, fearing God and giving alms is not enough.  He needed further instruction (the gospel)  With proper understanding, he then needs to be baptized.  He needed to know and then do God’s will.  Is our position any different than Cornelius?
