5. The Ohio Association for Infant Mental Health: Who We Are. Associate of the World Association for Infant Mental Health Active in Ohio for over 15 years Provide education on many topics related to Infant Mental Health through conferences, website and newsletter Advocate for the rights and wellness of infants, toddlers and their families

6. OAIMH provides a forum for interdisciplinary collaboration by advocating for the application of infant mental health principles in services for infants, young children and caregivers. OAIMH offers training and consultation and publishes an educational newsletter as well as other materials. Membership is open to those interested in improving the mental health of infants, young children and families.

7. The Role of Infant Mental Health Infant Mental Health refers to all practices that support the social and emotional development and wellness of infants and toddlers. Infant Mental Health practitioners have three clients: the baby, the caregivers and the relationship between baby and caregiver.

The Role of Infant Mental Health Health Care Example: Infant Mortality Reduction  Awareness of the importance of the attachment relationship, including breast feeding in supporting wellness and vitality  Early supportive nurse home visits that assess as well as engage not only physical wellness. But emotional wellness and ongoing connectivity with support systems.
