Your heart and lungs won't function efficiently. And your joints will be stiff and easily injured. Today, science has confirmed the link, with overwhelming evidence that people who lead active lifestyles are less likely to die early, or to experience major illnesses such as heart disease, diabetes and colon cancer. Health Benefits of Exercise and Physical Activity: - Reduce the risk of premature death. -Reduce the risk of developing diabetes. -Reduce or maintain body weight or body fat. -Reduce depression and anxiety.
