4 What happens to those who have it? Deterioration of Brain Movement Disorders Including: Involuntary jerking Involuntary sustained contraction of muscles Slow uncoordinated movements Slow abnormal eye movements Impaired gait, posture, and balance Difficulty Speaking Difficulty Swallowing

5 What happens cont'd Life Expectancy: 10-30 years after onset of symptoms. No cure, but medication can help with symptoms and slow down deterioration of brain.

6 How is it Passed On Passed Genetically from parent to child Dominant gene so a child with one parent with the disease and one without have a 50% chance of getting the disease.
