6 Viking Fun Facts Some people believed that the Vikings were sent by God as a punishment A Viking law-breaker could be killed by anyone The Vikings abandoned their sick children There was a special type of Viking warrior called a berserker. They were known to be the scariest and most terrifying of all the Vikings and were certainly the ones who committed the most violent acts during their pirate raids. This is were we get the word “beserk”

The Princess and the Pea, The Little Mermaid, The Emperor’s New Suit, and Thumbelina were all written in Denmark. The author was Hans Christian Anderson. Anderson’s fairy tales were way more depressing than how Disney portrays them.
