1 Game Project

2 Step 1 Find your group members Each student will be given a number When you are told you will move to that number spot Copy the names of your group onto you assignment sheet

3 Step 2 Within your group choose a type of game you would like to use. 4 Step 3 Make up a name for your team/game. –A–As a group make up a name for you game that every agrees on. Compromises may need to be made for everyone to agree. –Y–You can use this name or a similar one for your team name. This will be your groups name for the duration of the project.

5 Step 4 Make a list of questions & answers to use in your game. You must have at least 24 questions and answers to do with music. Symbols Singers/songwriters Genres of music Instruments Etc.

6 Step 5 Make up rules for your game. You must have at least 4 rules for your game. Rules may include, but is not limited to; How to chose who starts How many spaces you move for each question Who asks the question How long you have to answer the question Etc.

7 Step 6 Working in your group create your game. You can make a paper copy of your game or you may use a computer to make the game (or a combination of the two)

8 Step 7 Present your game to the class explaining how they need to play the game. Then you must have at least one other group play your game and fill out an evaluation on the game.

9 Evaluation Rubric Accuracy of Content – is info correct Rules – are the rules clearly for everyone to understand Creativity – how much thought put into game creation – game itself and questions/answers Attractiveness – original graphics, colourful, neatness Cooperative work – t eam members work together cooperatively all the time.
