4 First of all, we study the optical characteristics required for MC-EDFA no matter what pumping scheme is used.  the same gain properties compared to the conventional EDFA.  realize the gain uniformity of the core differential.  obtain the low crosstalk between cores. MC-EDFA with core pumping has a merit at this stage preliminary requirements for MC-EDFA
